BUYER HANDOFF SHEET (Mango, for Dahlia)
Feeding plan until pickup: Mango is on 4 to 5 formula feeds a day right now. He will be down to 2 a day before he goes home, so the schedule you take home will be shorter than today's. We will give you the exact times and amount at your lesson.
Weaning notes: He is already trying millet and soft pellets. Some days he will eat more and some days less. We will tell you how he is doing at each visit.
Call us right away if: his crop looks empty in the morning, he sits fluffed up, or his beak looks sticky. If he seems sick or stops eating, also contact an avian vet.
Pickup checklist:
- Feeding lesson with us ($25)
- Balance due: $350, plus $25 for the lesson
- Carrier and formula supply
- Guarantee: you have 7 days to have him seen by your vet
- Please confirm any local rules or paperwork you may need for owning a bird
MESSAGE TO DAHLIA
Hi Dahlia, Mango is doing well. He weighs 61g, up from 58g this week, and he is already nibbling millet and soft pellets. We are aiming for pickup around the end of April, but we will only set the day once he is on 2 feeds a day and eating on his own. We will let you know as soon as we are close. Since you have not hand fed before, we recommend booking the feeding lesson ($25) a few days before pickup. Call us any time with questions.
SHOP RECORD
Mango, Dominguez: $100 deposit paid, $350 balance, pickup not before about Apr 28, waiting on 2 feeds a day and self-eating.
Still needed for Pip: price, weight, formula amounts, deposit.
What it does
Turns your notes on a hand-fed baby bird into a clear feeding and care plan, a pickup timeline, and a handoff sheet for the buyer. It works for one chick or several chicks held for different customers.
Use it when: Use when a bird shop needs to build a hand-feeding and pickup schedule for a baby bird, or write care instructions for the buyer, such as: baby bird feeding schedule, hand-fed chick pickup, weaning plan, when can the customer take the baby home, or write up care for this chick.
