These terms apply to your use of the TFI Storefront, the TFI Tools Directory and related pages (the “site”), run by Thompson Foundry Innovations LLC (“TFI,” “we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What TFI provides
The site offers AI skills, templates and other products, services delivered by TFI, and a directory of third-party software tools. Some items are marked “Coming soon” and are not yet available; asking to be notified does not create an order.
2. Skills license
- TFI skills are © Thompson Foundry Innovations LLC and are covered by the TFI Skills License, which is included with every download.
- In short: you may use, copy and change skills for free inside your own business or for personal use, and share an unchanged copy as long as the license and TFI credit stay with it. You may not sell, resell, sublicense or repackage them, or publish them as your own product or in any collection, directory or marketplace, without TFI's written permission.
- If this summary and the TFI Skills License ever differ, the TFI Skills License controls.
3. Not professional advice
Skills, templates, research and directory information are tools to help you work. They are not legal, tax, accounting, medical, financial, safety or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking every result an AI produces, and for confirming the laws, codes and rules that apply where you work, before you use, send or act on it. Consult a qualified professional when needed.
4. Services, quotes and payment
- Prices shown as “From” are starting prices. For services, TFI confirms the scope and sends a written quote or invoice before work begins; that quote controls the price and what is included.
- Payment terms, and any refund, are as stated in the quote or invoice. Fees for Featured placements and fast-track reviews are not refundable once the placement starts or the review is completed.
- Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect a quote you have already accepted.
5. The Tools Directory
- Tools listed in the directory belong to their own companies. TFI does not make, sell or support them unless TFI says so, and your use of a tool is governed by that company's terms.
- Directory information comes from public sources, the companies themselves and automated checks. Summaries, pricing types, skill levels and small-business fit are estimated by AI from each tool's own website and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm details on the tool's website before you buy.
- TFI may add, change, hide or remove any listing at any time, including tools whose websites stop working.
6. Affiliate links and Featured placements
- Some links to tool websites are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, TFI may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Companies can pay for a Featured spot, which is always labeled “Featured.”
- Payment never changes how TFI describes, rates or checks a tool.
7. Submitting a tool or advertising
- If you submit a tool or buy a Featured spot, you confirm you are allowed to represent that tool and that what you send is accurate and lawful.
- You allow TFI to display the tool's name, description and website link in the directory.
- TFI decides whether to list or feature a tool and may decline or remove any listing, including paid ones, for example if the website stops working or the information is misleading. If TFI removes a paid Featured spot for a reason other than your breach of these terms, TFI will refund the unused portion.
8. Using the site
Don't misuse the site: for example, don't submit false or harmful information, try to access admin areas or other people's data, copy the directory in bulk, or interfere with how the site works.
9. Provided “as is”
The site, skills, templates, directory information and other content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. TFI does not promise any particular result from using them.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TFI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site, its content or any third-party tool. TFI's total liability for any claim relating to the site or its products is limited to the amount you paid TFI for the product or service the claim relates to in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
11. Your responsibility
You agree to cover TFI's reasonable losses and costs from claims caused by your breach of these terms or by information you submit to the site.
12. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
- If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- TFI may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date; the version posted when you use the site applies.
