Customer Text Asking for Photos and Measurements
Writes a short, friendly text that tells a customer exactly which photos and measurements you need before you visit or quote.
Before and after
Hi April, this is Arthur Beal with Wrenvale Handyman. Before I come out Thursday at 9am to 6926 Timbervale St, could you send a few photos and measurements? That way I can bring the right parts and tools on the first trip.
Bathroom faucet
- A photo of the sink top, showing the faucet and how many holes it has.
- A photo under the sink, showing the pipes and shutoff valves.
- The brand and model name, if you can find it, since you mentioned it may be a Kohler Bellhaven.
Back door
4. A photo of the gap along the edge of the door when it is closed.
5. A close-up of the spot where it rubs or sticks.
6. The height and width of the door, measured in inches.
Hallway drywall
7. One photo of the whole wall and one close-up of the hole.
8. The height and width of the hole, measured in inches.
Please send the photos by Wednesday evening by replying to this text. No ladders or climbing needed, just photos from the floor. If any of this is unclear, call or text me at 336-555-0136.
Thanks, Arthur
Questions for the owner
- Do you want to say anything about when you can give her a price, or should the text stay silent on that?
What it does
Writes a short, friendly text that tells a customer exactly which photos and measurements you need before you visit or quote. It saves a wasted trip and helps you bring the right parts and tools.
Use it when: Use when a handyman needs to text a customer to ask for photos and measurements before a visit or quote, such as: "ask them for pictures first," "text the customer what I need to see," or "get measurements before I come out."
