Before and after
Graywick Roofing Went From 9 Web Leads to 57 in One Season
Challenge
Graywick Roofing, owned by Agnes Shepherd and based at 3162 Foxwick St in Briarhurst, was hard to find online. From December to February, the business received 9 leads from the web. Agnes needed more calls from people searching for a roofer.
Approach
From March 1 to May 31, we ran a three-part campaign:
- Alexei Tucker set up and managed Google Ads, with a total ad spend of $4,800 over the three months.
- We rebuilt Graywick's Google Business Profile.
- Aisha Stephens built a new landing page for the ads to send people to.
Results
- Web leads: 9 (December to February) to 57 (March to May), an increase of 48 leads
- Google Business Profile calls: 11 in the three months before, 34 during the three months of the campaign, an increase of 23 calls
- Cost per web lead during the campaign: about $84.21 ($4,800 divided by 57 leads)
"I stopped worrying about whether the phone would ring." Agnes Shepherd, owner, Graywick Roofing
Takeaway
In our view, this campaign shows that a clear landing page, a complete business profile, and focused ads work best together for a local service business.
Questions for the owner
- Agnes mentioned booked jobs. Do you have the number of jobs or the revenue, and the time period? We left it out because no figure was given.
- Math for the calculated figures: 57 leads minus 9 leads is an increase of 48 leads. 34 calls minus 11 calls is an increase of 23 calls. $4,800 divided by 57 leads is about $84.21 per lead.
- The cost per lead of $84.21 was calculated from the $4,800 ad spend and 57 leads. The 57 leads may include leads from the profile and landing page, not only ads. Do you want to show this figure?
- Do you want the phone number 402-555-0120 added at the end as a call to action?
- Confirm Agnes approved the final wording of the case study before it goes on the website.
