Before and After Post With Consent Wording
Writes a social media caption for a client's before and after photos, plus a short consent note the client can approve in writing before anything is posted.
Before and after
Caption (ready to post)
20 weeks ago, Nicole couldn't do a single pushup from the floor. Today she did 12 in a row and deadlifted 135 lbs for 5 reps.
She trained 3 times a week, showed up, and kept going. In her words: "I used to dread the gym and now I look forward to it."
So proud of you, Nicole.
Every client's journey is different, and this is one person's experience. Results vary from person to person.

Consent note to send Nicole
Hi Nicole, thank you for saying yes to sharing your progress. So we are both clear, here is what I plan to do:
- Post your before and after photos on Instagram and Facebook
- Use your first name only, Nicole
- Share the quote you gave me and the training results in the caption (12 pushups, 135 lb deadlift for 5 reps)
- Not share your weight or body measurements
You can ask me to take the post down at any time, and saying no or changing your mind will never affect your training with me. Please reply "I agree" to confirm, and tell me if you want anything changed.
Photo checklist
- Use the same lighting, angle, and pose in both photos
- Check the background so no other clients or private items show
- Do not edit the photos in any way that changes Nicole's body
- Let Nicole look at the final photos and approve them before you post
Questions for the owner
- Her text covers Instagram and Facebook. Do you want to post on your own page, the studio business page, or both? Name each page in the consent note so Nicole agrees to the exact places.
- Nicole's text does not mention weight, so this draft leaves it out. Ask her directly if you want to include it.
- Do you have a signed consent form for clients? If so, attach it. Have a lawyer review it and confirm any local requirements.
What it does
Writes a social media caption for a client's before and after photos, plus a short consent note the client can approve in writing before anything is posted. It keeps the post honest, respectful of the client, and based only on the facts the trainer provides.
Use it when: Use when a personal trainer wants to write a before and after social media post about a client's results with proper consent wording, such as "write a transformation post," "before and after caption for a client," or "I want to post my client's progress."
