Before and after
Proposal for Bianca Spencer
1503 Elkhill Ave, Lynndale
Prepared by Frosthill Solar
Hello Ms. Spencer,
Thank you for having Calvin Vega out to look at your home. This proposal covers a 14 panel solar system on your roof, plus two additional items we found and recommend.
Your system
- 14 Qcells 400 watt solar panels, mounted on your south facing asphalt shingle roof
- One Enphase IQ8 microinverter per panel. The microinverter changes the power from each panel into the kind your home uses.
- Racking and mounting hardware to hold the panels on the roof
Calvin found that your roof faces south and has no shade problems.
Work included
- Mounting the racking and installing all 14 panels
- Installing the microinverters and wiring the system
- Permit and utility paperwork
- Final connection of the system
Recommended additional work
Recommended now
- Subpanel install. Your main panel is 100 amp and the breaker box is full, so we recommend adding a subpanel. Please have a licensed electrician confirm what your electrical service needs.
- Vent boot replacement. The roof vent boot is cracked right where we need to run conduit, and it is leaking into your attic. We recommend replacing it.
Price
- Panels and inverters: $9,800
- Racking and mounting hardware: $1,650
- Labor: $3,900
- Neighbor deal credit on labor: -$500
- Permit and utility paperwork: $750
- Subpanel install: $1,200
- Vent boot replacement: $280
- Total: $17,080
If you choose to decline the subpanel or the vent boot, we will note that as your decision. Without them the total is $15,600.
Payment terms
- $1,000 deposit at signing
- 50 percent of the remaining balance when installation starts, which is $8,040
- The final balance of $8,040 when the work is done
Timeline and warranty
- Installation takes 2 days, and we are scheduling about 6 weeks out.
- Workmanship is covered by a 10 year warranty.
Things that could affect price or schedule
- Your roof is about 12 years old. The shingles looked fine on the visit.
- The subpanel and vent boot work are included in the total above.
